ROW Adventures is a leading whitewater rafting and adventure travel outfitter in Idaho and beyond. Running more rivers and serving more destinations than the competition meant that the word was getting out -- ROW's Galapagos Islands trip, the only one of its kind that allowed camping on the islands, was attracting attention worldwide.

ROW Adventures brought in the Thinkery to totally redesign and repurpose their web properties at www.rowadventures.com and www.riverdancelodge.com. In a matter of months, the sites were live, traffic and search engine rankings were up, and most importantly, ROW had a fresh, professional look that told visitors that they were dealing with the best.

Main Features

The core of the ROW Adventures website is the custom-developed Trip Agent - Adventure Travel Website component designed and built by the Thinkery. This flexible tool allows the ROW office staff to add, maintain and control hundreds of trips using an intuitive web-based backend. All information is maintained in a secure database, and all trip information is dynamically updated in real time on interactive Flash maps, Google maps and large photo galleries.
The Trip Agent component lets ROW can concentrate on what they do best, delivering world-class adventure travel experiences, rather than learning and editing code. Better still, they never have to wait or pay for content changes or hire dedicated website staff.

Technologies Utilized

ROW's websites are built with open-source tools, including Joomla, PHP and mySQL. The Flash and Google map components are fed by a custom dynamic XML datafeed developed by the Thinkery.
