The story of the Thinkery begins with two brothers, Tim and Vinny. Both having left their home town in North Idaho to live and work in the high tech metropolis of Seattle, they had found success but not happiness.

Tim worked for a large enterprise software company, and was rapidly climbing the corporate ladder. Vin was with a cutting-edge web design firm working on high visibility branding and marketing projects for major local businesses.

When Tim's company was acquired and merged with a European competitor, he knew it was time to cash in his chips. Vinny was also ready for a change, and they decided to pool their experience and talents to form a new company. They moved back to Idaho with their young families, and the Thinkery was born.

Since 2009 the Thinkery has been developing software for the world. Our Intellectual Property component for Joomla has been the top-ranked real estate project on the Joomla Extensions Directory almost since its release. We've also been creating custom software packages for many national companies, public and private, including a .NET data analytics console for a division of Microsoft,  Ruby on Rails web applications for start ups we're not even allowed to talk about, and much more.

We plan to stay small and lean, able to adapt quickly to new trends and technologies, while providing the best software and services that can be found. We take pride in our work and enjoy the freedom of being able to pick and choose our projects.

We'd love to hear about you and your dreams. Let us know how we can make the software to make you successful. Contact us to get started.
