Contractors Northwest Overview
With offices in Coeur d Alene and Boise, Contractors Northwest, one of the largest building contractors in Idaho needed a site to allow them to maintain their numerous projects in the bidding and production stages, while coordinating this information with hundreds of sub contractors.The Thinkery developed a customized document management solution in cooperation with CNI's Coeur d Alene office that enabled CNI Coeur d'Alene and Boise office staff to upload, manage and track the thousands of documents that fed into these projects, while providing a granular security mechanism to restrict access to these documents to contractors who were not authorized.
Main Features
While the document management system is the heart of the CNI-info site, the Thinkery also provided CNI with blogs and a user forum to allow them to communicate with their clients, customers and contractors. Photo galleries allow CNI to showcase their work to internal and external customers, and a statistics utility lets them keep tabs on who has downloaded what, and when.

I almost gave four stars only because this nifty little component didn't have a timer, which I specifically needed - but I didn't have the heart - so 5 it is! Other than the timer thing, it is a very nice, very useful tool for anyone with different types of ongoing projects they need to track. Very cool! And when I needed help making it fit my template's layout, he was ON it incredibly quickly ... BBW Satisfied user of our Project Log component
